The OR nurse shall be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed by the AR State Board of Nursing or a compact state. He or she must exhibit the ability to plan, supervise and evaluate nursing care during stressful emergency conditions.
The OR nurse will be expected to assist in the OR in multiple roles and scrub, circulating, recovery and pre op. In addition they will after appropriate training and orientation be expected to cover call hours for emergency cases.
